Hello. We are experiencing logoffs up to 90 seconds on our Windows Server 2003 Terminal Server. It takes ages before the logging off screen appears, in the meantime people are presented with only a blue background. Logging on only takes about 15 seconds maximum. I currently have no idear what is causing the slow logoffs. The strange thing is that it doesn’t happend all the time, sometimes logging off takes less then 10 seconds, but most of the time it takes much longer. I have checked the event log and there are some 1517 and 1524 warnings. We used to have UPHClean installed but removed it on advice of an external company. When UPHClean was installed logoff was slow as well.
The Terminal Server does not have a DC in the same LAN. The DC that is used is placed in another office (we have an MPLS network). I can understand that it may be a better idear to also have a DC on the same LAN as the TS, but the current situation has worked flawlessly before.
Any help or advice would be welcome!
