Slow Logon on Windows XP Professional

By bytj ·
I added nine Windows XP professional into a domain. After that, I found that it was slow to login as a local administrator -- it took more than two minutes to display the icons on the desktop. Any other local users and domain users work just fine -- login is fast. Is there anyone knowing what may be wrong?

Basic Checks

Check 1st by unplugging 01 wkstn from the network and see if the wkstn exhibits the same behaviour.

Next u can check on the network settings, nic properties, best to have it set to 100 Full rather than auto-negotiate, and that your ip address, config and esp dns isset up correctly.
