Experiencing incredibly slow online time.
Have a Pentium II, 32 megs, running Win98
with an HSP micromodem on board. Drive is
running constantly.
Notice that the modem registers receiving WAY
more than is being sent, e.g. “2578383 bytes received,” “658923 bytes sent.” Even downloads where the amt is known never check out right — always way more received than being sent.
Is this a prob with my modem? Should I/should I not replace it? Or software prob.
