I am having a problem with 3 stations. They are all configured the same with 3 com 100mps network cards. 2 stations have win 98 and 1 station has win95. They are using a dos based application that runs fine. The problem is the 2 win 98 station have a delay of 15 to 20 seconds when they bill. the win 95 station only takes 2 seconds! I downgraded one of the stations to win 95 and the problem was resolved. The customer doesn’t want to use win 95, they want 98. I have changed network cards and everything on the computer. The problem is in Win 98. Is there any way to speed up win 98’s network access delay. Thanks for all your help.
