Running WinNT SP6a over a TCP/IP network, older dos based accountants network applications run slow. Older machines with inferior processors (pent 266 vs pIII 650), but SP5 have no problem, machines with the same hardware configuration (pIII 650)but SP5 have no problem.
the problem seems random, sometimes the problem is undetectable (networkload? / connected users?).
it looks like it is SP6a related, are there any regkeys or other changes that can be applied to avoid the slownes?
