My desktop is a Windows NT4 workstation. Every morning, it takes about 12-15 minutes to boot the machine before I can launch any application to start my work. The PC is a 233 MHz with 64 MB RAM, and two HDDs, 2 GB each. The first one has 600 MB freeand the second one has 750 MB free space. I have the following software installed on my PC – Outlook 98, MS Office, ftp software, antivirus s/w, JDK, ERD tools, Java dev. tools. Any body knows why the machine is so slow? Thanks in advance.
