Ok… first of all, my laptop runs extremely slow. I can’t remember how much ram was in it. Is that what maximizes speed? Anyway, I couldn’t even use the internet. I finally got a copy of Spybot and something else to get rid of spyware, and it was full of spyware. It started working, but it was slow. My dsl runs like dial up. I have alltel and when I hook up with my laptop from work, it is fast. My hard drive went out in my personal laptop. I have to get a new one. Do I have to get a certain one, or can I get a better one? It was a Hitachi 20GB. What would make the dsl run so slow? I thought it was just from the spyware, but it still did after I cleaned it up. Do I need more RAM? A bigger harddrive?
