hi,
i was facing one problem. when i install Ms Office 2003 at new desktop, spec are 512MB RAM, 3.4Ghz processor with window XP SP2 Pro OS. The Ms Excel or Words will slow resonding when i try to doing some formatting. for example, i try to right click on the cell and select the “format cell”, the Excel will hang or not responding for 30++ second, after that resume the process.
what i have doing:-
1.) repair and reinstall fresh Ms Office 2003
2.) reinstall by another Ms Office installer CD which in good condition.
3.) clear temporary internet cache file and history file.
4.) scanned virus with trend micro officeScan 7.0.
5.) run defragmentation on local drive.
after doing a lot of testing, but the problems still occur. some body can helps?????
