About every 5 or 6 times I go to a web site I get a pause in response from connecting to that site, which can last up to 2 minutes. I have opened a number of windows and it will hang on all of them, so it is not the site at the other end. I have tried different ISP’s. Remove IE and reinstalled it from the beginning. Remove Dial-up-networking and tcp-ip and reinstalled them. Remove all cookie’s and temp files. What is got me puzzled is I can check my e-mail accounts, which also checks my yahoo site for mail, when this is happening. So to me it has to be something with IE. The system has 385megs of ram and running a 800MHz. Thanks for any help
