Slow shutdown

Hi, I have this problem with my laptop IBM X60.
Whenever i tried to shut down my laptop i will need to wait at least 15 to 20 mins b4 it is fully shutdown. Is there any way to faster the speed say a script or what to force kill the process when shut down?

And another thing that'll slow down your shutdown is if you have "Clear Virtual memory pagefile" enabled.
Check your local policy (or domain policy if your laptop is part of a domain, although if that's the case you'll have to talk to your domain admins)

-gpedit.msc
-Computer Configuration/Windows Settings/Security Settings/Local Policies/Security Options

value to look for is Shutdown: Clear virtual memory pagefile
