I have just built my first VPN using PPTP, Win98 external clients, and a NT internal network. Both sides have a fast cable modem. The external client runs the customer database so slow that the connection times out. I can’t even push a 4mb file out to the external client without a timeout. Is this correct behavior for VPN or have I missed something in my setup?
