I am looking for an answer to why WIN2000 is so slow after the system has been up, and running for a time. It is eratic in it’s speed. One minute it is fine then another it is so slow. My page file is large and I have placed it on another hard disk,I have 256MB memory. There are several others with the same problem and we need some advice and a solution to our problem. I will see the processor peak out to max even when I am not using or doing anything on it, just looking at the performance monitor.
