I have a Pentium II 233 with 196 MB RAM, 30 GB HDD (ATA 33) with 4 partitions. 1) Windows ME 2) Windows 2000 pro 3) Data 4) Red Hat Linux 7.2. All the operating system has a partition of 4GB.
I installing Red Had Linux 7.2 in 4th partition (no Swap partition) and GRUB as the boot loader. RHL 7.2 and all the other operating system are working just fine. However, Windows Me and Win2K pro is very slow especially the graphic softwares and VCD players (Which worked fine before the RHL 7.2 and GRUB installation). Also I can’t run a scandisk using MS Scandisk or Norton Scandisk.
1) I want to know why I can’t run a scandisk. If there is a work around solution, how do I do it.
2) How to uninstall RHL 7.2 and GRUB.
3) Why is my Windows OS environment is slow and how to revert it back to its normal speed with RHL 7.2 and GRUB still active in 4th partition.
