I am setting up a small business network with windows xp clients and win2k3 server. The clients are connecting via the internet from Verizon wireless cellular cards. The client machines are connecting remotely from the road, not from the LAN the office.
I am able to get the machines to connect to the IP address of the cable modem. I opened a port on the lynksis router so the clients can connect to the server. The connection works fine.
The issue is that I need the client machines to be able to transfer files to the server. Since the client machines are connecting to the server via RDP, you cannot drag files into the RDP window. Can someone suggest a method of connecting to the server to the machines can transfer files?
