Small business video conferencing recommendations

By brittharter ·
We are a small business (13 total employees in 3 locations). We have been crashing at the videoconference room of a larger firm for a few months, and we need our own setup. It needs to be relatively professional as most web conferencing will involve clients at big firms. We are looking to keep the system at or under $3k.

will our conference partner need the same software as we have?

if so, is there an agreed-up software platform for most businesses?

any hardware/system recommendations?

we have 3Mbps internet (Verizon high speed for business. will we need something better or can we just plug Ethernet into the videoconferencing hardware?

thanks for your time and help.

Sincerely,
Britt

I'm not sure I know of a true video conference system for that cheap. This is a link to the vendor we bought our systems from. Site to site systems are some where in the 5k range.
If you would have a need for multiple site connectivity it gets more expansive quickly. Poke around on this site, there may be a unit that meets your budgetary requirements.
