I recently inherited several HP Proliant DL380 G4 servers from an acquisition and we want to use them in production. Ive built 4 of them without an issue but 1 has me stumped. There is a Smart Array 6400 controller with 2 channels and there is an embedded Smart Array 6i controller. I need to get all six 300GB drives in 1 array but the drive bays are split between the 2 controllers. I have 4 drives on the 6400 and two drives on the 6i. Does anyone know how to get all 6 on the 6400 controller?
I cant find the solution online and was hoping someone could guide me in the right direction.
