I have a small NT network that consists of one NT PDC
Server 4,one NT BDC Server, one Window NT Workstation
4,numerous Windows 98 machines and a few Macs.All
the machines work fine other than the NT
Workstation. The workstation gets an event id 3006 “The
redirector has received an smb that was to short”.When
this happens the workstation can’t access certian files
and numerous other strange occurances. The user simply
goes to another machine to do whatever task he or she
needs todo. All of the NT machines have service packs
6a.I am reluctant to perform any reg hacks on the server
since only one client has a problem.Any suggestions
would be appreciated.
