We are using sms 2.0. sms: smsmon32, clisvc95 and or opdwin9x cause windows 95/98 client to hang.
MS knowledge base explains, it’s due to the Netapi.dll network redirector file is out of date or is not in the %windir%\system folder.
This is not what happened in our case.
The short term solution for us is to press CRT ALT DELETE, then End Task the culprit component. Alternatively, prevent sms client install on the workstation, which is not an ideal solution.
Is there any known cause for it?
