SMS 2003 Active Directory Discovery

In SMS 2003, I have run an Active Directory System Discovery. I have subsequently created several collections using SQL queries based on OU membership.
Does anyone know why when I delete a computer from an OU and update the collection that is polling that OU, the computers do not go away from that collection.

Any help is much appreciated.
