    SMS Client/Managment

    Our SMS server crashed. Rebuilt server and need to take off old SMS client on workstations. We have many OS from 95 to NT4 the program to uninstall is not working right,says its taking off the program but it does not. Is there a manual way to removeSMS off a workstation?

      SMS wasn’t designed to be easy to remove… and it’s not! But there is a utility called
      Clean Client (the actual bat file name is 20clicln.bat and the utility includes that file and three others (hammer.exe, setevnt.exe and kill.exe)). It does a good job of cleaning up after itself.

      You should be able to find it on the SMS media but if you have trouble locating it, let me know and I’ll see what I can track down.
