hi — we ran out of disk space on our drive that houses the SQL DB for sms2003. we fixed the issue, but ever since that time I can no longer see/add clients to collections.
I’ve run ccmcleanup and then re-installed the SMS Client from scratch on some test hosts, waited over the weekend and still nothing. I click: collection; membership rules; direct membership rule. I change to system and
lookup via netbios. I type in the field “trai-%” (for all training room computers). nothing shows up. I even goto the clients and in the Systems
Management application I click “initiate action” for all available actions. The only change on the box was that SQL ran out of disk space. The machine has been rebooted a few times, but no luck in getting new clients to come
into SMS DB. OR…is there a way to purse the SQL DB and start from ground zero and have SMS just re-populate all data? any hints/411 would be great. thanks.
