Smtp Outlook Web Access

What do you mean they can not get internet mail to the OWA inbox? If you are meaning that they cannot connect other pop3/smtp servers into their OWA inboxes, then that is correct. OWA is not a multi-internet email client. It is a Corporate/Workgroup substitute for full blown Outlook. I think you asked earlier about POP3, and now I think I now what you want. No, It can not be done. You want to allow the users to sign up for yahoo/Hotmail/joe **** isp and be able to have all the mail retreivable with OWA, this is not possible. OWA is a psuedo-Outlook client based on the Microsoft Exchange Server service not Internet email. The mechanism behind OWA is CDO or Collaborative data objects which use MAPI components to perform the Outlook functions of Calendaring, Contacts and Inbox, their are no other protocols involved. You would have to develop the COM objects and implement them on your OWA server they are not built-in.

Hope this helps.
