12 computer network used to be on a Webramp recently switched to cable internet…using the original pop3 for their email and using the cable companies smtp works for all workstations except two ibm 2611 TP Laptops…they recieve email but cannot send…says server terminates connection for undetermined reasons. Email works fine on desktops with 3com ethernet cards. The laptops are using linksys combo cards. I have tried re installing outlook express…all the settings are correct…why the laptops only?? could it be their cards?
