I set up my Exchange 2000 network a couple of months. My highest priority problem right now is that I am having trouble receiving mail from ONE Internet domain. That’s it, just one. When users from that domain send mail to any user mailbox on my network, I get problems. Occasionally messages arrive immediatelly, no problem. Most times the message will make it through after 4,6,12 hours or more. I received one that took 30+ hours. Some of these pass the 48 hour mark and fail. During thistime, I experience no other inbound mail failures from other domains.
I can’t find any related errors in Event Viewer. I have no bottlenecks at my server, on my LAN or at my e-mail gateway. My ISP did bandwidth monitoring on my node for 2 days, no bottlenecks. Is this a problem w/ the senders ISP, My ISP, DNS routing? Could it be a config problem on my server?
