I thought this would be a good place to ask for advice. I would like to implement a good sniffer on our network but there are so many. Has anyone had good or bad experiences with any of these guys? Which is better a stand alone device or a software package that can be moved? I am wanting to know the traffic on our network so I can tell if there is a problem.
