Snort GUI

By cpfeiffe ·
I have Snort 1.8.3 installed on Solaris 8 x86. I need to also find and install a freeware GUI that is easy to use and provides the ability to configure the Snort rules and to view the output of the filters. I've done several web searches, but haven't found anything that looks good yet. The problem seems to be in finding something that will work on Solaris 8 x86 for free. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Try Snort Monitor at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/sntm

or

http://freshmeat.net/projects/sntm/?topic_id=43

says it can be used in a POSIX/Solaris/Linux environment - based on C++.

Hope that helps -

This appears to monitor and manager the filter output and collected data but doesn't provide an interface for creating the filters/rules. If I am missing something please let me know.
