So I sent this photo via Twitter....

Oops, that was not me.

Or maybe it was.

I need to deny it, apologize for it, or deny it, then apologize for denying it, or something like that.

Who could have predicted that the Internet would give us the ability to save lives, ruin political careers, and send pictures of your computer hardware to total strangers. :) :)

Since journalists and investigative reporters seem to have the technical acumen of salted sea slugs, whether a story regarding technology is fake, real, or a mixture of both, it will get front page news.

But if you are not a Twit who uses Twitter

by HAL 9000 Moderator In reply to So I sent this photo via ...

Then you don't have a problem right? :^0

As for Front Page Stories well unfortunately there is no cure for that as what makes good reading doesn't have to be correct or honest just provided that it has a Catchy Headline and a slightly interesting story it's done it's job of attracting people to read the Adds in the paper.

The same goes for the Electronic Media if it gets enough people to watch the adds that are part of the News Show that is all that is required hence the Crap Chanel's like Fox News.

It still amazes me...

that after all the stories about busted cheaters, hacked accounts, etc., that anyone think that their privacy can be maintained indefinitely and discretion assured on the internet...a public medium.

As for electronic media...now you know why my TV is tuned to Top Gear or some channel that shows movies or documentaries or educational programming.

Crazies on neither side will get my thumbs up. Just maybe on occasion a "meh".

Yeah, but it's even harder to maintain your privacy

when there are no hackers or cheaters involved, when you're just too frickin' ignorant or inattentive to know what you're doing.

What amazes me

Is that someone as educated as Mister Weiner doesn't understand that Twitter is for sending information to a large number of people, and that email is probably the right medium for sending to one person.

Are you watching Top Gear USA or Top Gear UK? Or both?

You lost me somewhere

In this case, the headlines and story were correct. I'm not denying newspapers are in it for a profit, but who can ignore it when an elected official stuff both feet in before throwing himself under fleet of buses?

Well that answer is simple really

Just about anyone with half a brain in the glass jar on the Mantle Piece. If the Newspapers and Electronic Media wasn't to report it who would know or care for that matter?
