Software Adaptability criteria/guidelines.

Hello..

I am currently part of group that is working on a software project. I was given the task to determine the software’s adaptability (it is a web-based appliation for a publishing company). I am hoping to seek suggestions…I need to know what are the questions and criteria I need to set to determine the level of adaptability of the software we are developing.
