    Software for digital uploads/downloads

Hello. I was wondering if any of you know if there is software you can downright purchase and own which you can then use on your website to let the customer download a digital product? That no one can later tell you that you can’t use it simply because they don’t agree with your product, etc. One that notifies you to upload the file once a purchase has been made, rather than just using plugins that you find on wordpress? Something that you have full control of. TIA

Surely there are sites that do such, like sites selling e-books or software.

But if your site uses WordPress, and those other sites use other software to build their sites, it’s quite unlikely you can use the modules or programs of webservices or whatever they use.

It might be time to find a professional (company or freelancer) to rebuild your site to do what you want.

You have an idea for a digital download but aren’t sure where to host it or sell it. Well, you’re in luck because there are plenty of platforms to do just that. Let’s take a look at some common types of digital downloads offered for free or sold online:

(i). eBooks — eBooks are a popular digital download. They’re relatively easy to produce & sell. Some businesses offer short eBooks for free as a lead magnet in exchange for an email address.

(ii). Digital art, fonts, and graphics — Digital artists use graphics editors to create fonts, icons, and logos, and then sell their creations as downloads.

(iii). Document templates — Businesses download templates for forms, letters, emails, or invoices to save time designing their own.
