Software Inventory of PCs

I am looking for a program that will search all our computers on the network for software. We have to do an inventory of software and I need a way to accomplish this without running to every PC. Does anyone know of a program that I can run from mydesktop, or a server?

Here is some free inventory software that is recognized by the SPA.

(1) SPA Audit Software – SPA’s own software audit program (Free).
(2) WRQ Express Inventory, SPA Edition (Free) – gives the user the ability to conduct software audits.
(3) KeyAudit 5.0 KeyAudit (Free) – searches for all Windows or Macintosh applications and will produce indexed lists.
