I am setting up a windows 2003 server environment, with a mix of w2k pro/win xp pro workstations.
I need to set up some way of restricting what programs can be run on the w2k pro machines. I have software restriction policies set up for the xp machines, I just need some way of administering the w2k machines. Any suggestions? I’ve read a little about using the ntfs permissions to block programs, but I havent seen any guides on how to best deploy this on a domain wide level. Am I on the right line??
