software testing

I have completed BSc.(PCM) at 2003 and presently waiting for final result of ‘A’ level(Doeacc). I am intrested in software testing.
Is my qualification enough for success in the field of software testing? I am not MCA qualified. is this create any problem for success in this field.
how much salary i can accept in this field?
