Software testing: Is it a good career option?

Hello,
My friend has done BSc(Zoo) and PG Diploma in Hospital Mgt (Age: 23Y), but she whant to shift to IT and interested in persuing career in software testing.

Would you please tell me if this will be a wise decision and if yes which courses she must to do to have career in software testing, Also list some institutes for that in Pune.

Imagine being a sientist and testing your theroy and then proving it, the same skill is required for testing software. No training required you just have to know someone and she should get a job testing. Testing is about the lowest IT job avalible (lower than helpdesk in some organisatios). Some people pay good others pay standard or less or nothing. No training required just good work ethic and what is now considered basic computer knowladge and you a tester. Must also be able to write about it.
