Software to toggle TCP/IP settings?

By sharkalui ·
I have a Thinkpad running W2K Pro that I continually take back and forth between home and office. I connect to our office LAN which uses DNS and I have a static IP address. At home I just got high speed internet access using the radio spectrum, butit connects via my nic. During setup I had to check "Obtain IP address automatically" in the TCP/IP properties. This wipes out my static IP info for the office. Is there software that would enable me to toggle back and forth between these settings w/o having to reconfigure every time?

The netsh command does this, and it is built in to W2K, therefore, free! I use it myself, for my office and home setup. It doesn't require a reboot either. I posted an answer with the instructions on how to do so in a previous answer. Just do a search on the netsh command. Enjoy

If you can't find it, just email me and I will send it to you.

This is OK, but I've found Netswitcher is handier and faster.
