I just got a newsletter entitled “[TechRepublic] Deploy patches with Software Update Services” that recommends Software Update Services for patching, but states that it doesn’t support things like SQL.
I think it’s worth mentioning that its replacement, Windows Update Services (which otherwise would have been known as SUS 2.0) DOES in fact support application servers as well.
