One of my clients have a small office with a W2K Server and 4 stations running W98.
He asked me to connect all of them thru a single telephone conection to Internet.
I’ve tried the NAT configuration instead of the connection sharing because I thought it would let more room for future spread.
I followed the manual, everithing seems OK, the IE5 on every machine is set to not to dial out and to automatically detect conf. The server connects to the internet -because I’m actually writing this question from it- and detects activity over the lan, because it initiates the dial-on-demand when any stations tries to rise up IE but… there the story ends, theres no connection from the stations on the LAN to the Internet.
I’ve tried everything I can figure out… uselessly and I don’t want to give up W2K on behalf any shareware proxy…
Any help woud be appreciated.
