Oracle RDBMS 8.0.4 is not certified to run on Sun Solaris UNIX 9 which means Oracle has never tested 8.0.4 on this platform. Could any one say whether 8.0.4 could run on Solaris 9?….and has anyone tried it and what was the experience like? Was any problems encountered? Does it work properly?…
