i our network there r 8 systems and they r connected to a switch, recently we got LENOVO laptops and we want to set a wireless network. first we took a wireless router and we tried to connect those two networks but we were failed, then we took a wireless access point. we connected a straight cable from switch to wireless access point and we configured wireless in desktop system and assigned an ipaddress, now they r working fine. can u tell why we were failed when we tried to set a wireless network with wireless router? what is the reason? tell how to configure a wireless network with router and also with wireless switch or access point. plz help
