Solving the Semantic Data issue

by brainwavelive . Updated 19 years, 2 months ago

White attempting to peek and poke data, application to really come of age and tackle intricate data relationship management, needs an universal data repository. This universal data bank as is stated by Tim Burners-Lee in their 1998 manifesto, is the first step to create machine capable of reasoning.

But due to lack of a fundamental unit that is capable of handling data that evolves over time and space, relationships that exist between data cannot be exploited for better decision making or reasoning.

So, for example, when I meet you for the first time I say ‘Hello’, the second time I say ‘Hi’, the third time may be a ‘nodding head’ with ‘hey’. Note all these three ‘memes’ are basically referring the same thing ‘recognition’ but has actually evolved cause the relationship evolved. The question is could we create something that can actually handle this?

‘Meme’ being the fundamental unit of cultural evolution, much like genes can be defined as that fundamental unit to handle evolving data. The Brainwave Platform that comes with a Neural database is an attempt to create a universal data repository. It may be an answer towards solving the semantic data relationships.
