Many questions; small space!

1. Boot files find your system files that then run your OS.
2. You need licenses to connect to a NT Server. Per seat or per server. Go to www.microsoft.com for their cryptic explanations.
3. Exchange Server is an Email and information sharingproduct from Microsoft.
4. For WinNT4.0 yes you can promote a BDC to a PDC.
5. In Win2K with Active Directories you have only DC's (Domain Controllers), they cann all do the job except the first DC in a domain has a few goodies that cannot be replaced, but can be restored.
