Ok, here’s a nice puzzle for those that may be bored. Had a HDD that was going out, so used WD “lifeguard” to move all info onto new HDD. This is on an XP PRO SP2 workstation, networked. Everything works great, no problems… except most of the icons are now blank. Including: xls, doc, pdf, mp3, wav, vss, qbb. They still work, open with the appropriate program. Some of the files not affected: jpg, mbf, mby, pwi, exe, bmp, htm. Any ideas on what needs to be replaced/fixed, and where it is? Thanks!
