Some things are important

Yesterday I removed a cabinet I installed head-high years ago above the toilet. I had come to rely on that cabinet, upon which while standing, to lean my forehead as I did business. Today, unthinking while doing, I leaned into it with my forehead.

The cabinet was no longer there. Just the wall. Eighteen inches of acceleration before I hit it.

Stream diverted. Pissed all over the place.

But never utilized in a similar way.

It might be good to temporarily install something that can be similarly utilized until you become accustomed to not having that "rest". This should help to avoid unnecessary incidents as you retrain yourself.

Glad you weren't hurt- as you could easily have been.

Sit

by AnsuGisalas In reply to Some things are important

I've weighed the pros and cons, and there's just no reason for me to bother standing, just because I could.
Besides, I once blacked out standing, leaning on the wall via my left arm.
I believe it's a window of opportunity for the pulse to get indecisive.
