I recently installed a network hard drive on my network. Unfortunately this is a wireless network with many users. I disabled my FTP access to the drive and had different passwords for my admin login as well as my mapped folder. Someone wrote the file “gamesetup.exe” to the drive which cause havoc on the network because it contained the “W32.Fujacks.B” trojan. It must be coming from inside the network because the network itself is already firewalled from the external networks. I don’t really want to install another firewall because I want the drive to be accessible to certain users but how can I protect unwanted users from writing to it?
