sonic stage error

I have a problem with sonic stage. when i try to open sonic stage I get a error missing database file,I have tried to reinstall and it still does this.does anyone know how to fix this.how can recover this ?
and when I click okey to try recover it does nothing? All my song files in this are not opening with other
media also. how can I convert these files to other?

right click on one of the songs and go to properties. Then change the file association that windows uses to open the file type, usuely refers to "open with" and a change button is located to the right which after pressing it, will give you options to change how Windows handles the format. If this doesn't work, you also might want to get a converter. Go to www.Download.com and locate a trial version of Acoustica audio converter pro. it will allow you to convert 10 songs to MP3. wav etc, I would try this also and if it works, purchase the program. It is real easy to use and it only costs $29.99
