SonicWall or Watch Dog

Can anyone supply pros & cons information on SonicWall or Watch Dog programs?
Currently we use Websense for filtering and a vendor has convinced our General Manager that SonicWall is better, can do the same thing and is only a one-time charge, whereas Websense is yearly licenses. While attempting to gather information I was told not to use SonicWall that Watch Dog was better.
At this point, I am turning to the “real pros” for information.
