I have always been curious about the Sonicwall lineup, but never had the free cash to purchase one worthy of a small business. Recently, I found a Pro 200 at a resale shop for $8 so I bought it. I took it home, fired it up, logged in, no issues. My question is, what sort of protection can this old model provide given it’s age. I know I can’t purchase the add on services, but as a front line / edge firewall, has much changed that would make this device a security risk or perform worse than a $90 Linksys Router?
