I have a Sony Vaio TR3AP3 laptop which I have owned for 4-5 years (I believe). Recently, over the last 6 months or so i have noticed slowed speeds and ocassional freezing up on applications. I knew my main hard drive was running low on memory so I ordered a new HD. Before I even received the new HD, my laptop started acting up. Now it will not boot up to Windows. It boots to the directory where I am given the choices to start from last know good condition, Safe mode, Safe mode w/ networking, etc. I have tried every possibility to no avail. i have even tried changing the settings to boot from CD Drive instead of the HD and placed a copy of Windows XP in it…still nothing. I am curious to find out my options moving forward. Thank you for your time
