sound can’t detect.

i install redhatlinux9.0 on my system.my mother board is intel 945GCNL motherboard.i can’t detect sound.when i go for soundcard detection it displays “no sound card detected”.
at kernel it shows something like sound slot 0-0 can’t detected.
