sound card

i need a pic. of how the sound card is hooked up to the rest of the computer. 1 of my plugs is not plugged in,and i really don't c any need in bying a new one if all i might have 2 do is plug everything in properly.

First, seat the sound card into one of the PCI slots on the mother board. Next, plug the sound cable from the CD-ROM, if you have one, into the sound card. If you have a DVD, there will also be an audio cable from the decoder card that goes into the sound card. I don't have a picture for you but if you hold the sound card with the external jacks to your left and the pins for the mother board facing down, the audio connectors (Black female blocks) will be on the top aft edge of the sound card.
