Sound missing

By bulls2 ·
I don't hear any sound when attending a seminar or reviewing a Demo over the internet.
However when I use media player or Real One player I am able to hear the sound.
Any hint is appreciated.

Most seminars don't use Media player or Real Player because they aren't good. The seminar setup should tell you how to access sound, 50% will have an 800 number. Iv'e noticed Microsoft Office Live Meeting recently. The following is the system requirements fo it:

Probably more than you wanted, but it points out that Java or Flash is getting to be predominant.
do you have the java plugin for your browser?

Peter: I understand the explanation about meetings. As far as the demo, I have both flash and java plugin installed and still can't hear the sound, eventhough I see the content. According to the Macromedia web site, flash on windows 2000 works with IE 5x while I have IE 6x installed. I find it hard to believe that Flash does not work with IE 6x.
I need to test another Demo on the web, any idea where to find one?
Thank you for your help.
